Writing the Body’s Wisdom: A Zen Writing Workshop for Women From website: A safe, supportive circle of women is the perfect place for taking this empty-handed leap into your creative self. You need not be a writer and no meditation experience is required. The agenda includes optional meditation (instruction available) and group writing to prompts. Come with an open mind and empty notebook and leave with an open heart and a notebook of inspiration.  August 2-4, 2013

North Carolina Writers’ Network Conferences   From website: The Network sponsors two conferences each year — a Spring Conference and a Fall Conference.
